This project focused on a full color transformation for a Porsche Macan using peelable paint technology. The vehicle originally arrived in blue and was refinished in a custom shade selected to match the owner’s personal preference.
Peelable paint offers an alternative to traditional repainting by allowing a complete color change while preserving the factory finish underneath. The removable coating helps protect the original paint from chips, light marks, and UV exposure, while giving the car an entirely new visual identity.
Unlike quick spray applications, the process requires careful preparation and controlled application. The vehicle undergoes detailed surface preparation and precise masking before multiple even coats of peelable paint are applied. A final clear coat layer is added to provide depth, gloss, and durability to the finish.
Another advantage of peelable paint is flexibility. The coating can be refreshed in the future or removed completely, allowing the vehicle to return to its original factory color if desired.
Depending on the vehicle and the chosen finish, the full peelable paint process typically takes around 12 days at DEIZ GARAGE.
