What’s the difference between skinning (overlay) and full manufacturing?
Carbon skinning (overlay) is a surface process where carbon fiber is applied over an existing part to improve appearance and durability. It’s commonly used for interior trims and exterior cosmetic elements.
Full carbon manufacturing means producing a part from scratch in our Dubai workshop, using carbon fiber or composite layups, custom molds, and structural reinforcement. This method is used for aero parts, functional components and custom designs where strength, weight reduction and fitment are critical.
In short: skinning (overlay) = surface upgrade, manufacturing = fully custom carbon part.

Woven vs forged carbon — which should I choose?
Woven carbon fiber features a traditional, structured weave pattern. It is lighter and stronger due to its continuous fiber structure, making it a better choice when performance, durability, and weight reduction matter. This type is commonly used in motorsport applications and high-performance parts.
Forged carbon, on the other hand, is made from randomly oriented chopped fibers. Its main advantage is visual — it creates a bold, modern, marbled look and allows for more complex shapes. However, it does not provide the same strength-to-weight benefits as woven carbon.
If you’re looking for maximum strength and reduced weight — choose woven carbon.
If your priority is a unique and aggressive visual style — forged carbon is the right option.

How do you choose gloss, satin or matte finishing?
The finish depends on part location, exposure and visual goals.
Gloss highlights weave depth and gives the deepest look.
Satin reduces reflections and creates a clean, technical appearance.
Matte offers a stealth look but requires more care.
We help you choose the best option based on how and where the part will be used.

Can you repair cracked carbon parts, and when is replacement better?
Yes, we perform carbon fiber repair and restoration in Dubai for cracks, chips, layer separation and clearcoat damage.
If the damage is cosmetic or localized, repair is efficient and cost-effective.
If the structure is compromised in load-bearing zones, replacement or remanufacturing is safer — we always inspect and recommend the best solution for durability and safety.

What affects production time?
Production time depends on:
- Part size and complexity
- Service type ( skinning, repair, manufacturing, mold making)
- Curing and finishing process
- Approval stages and revisions
- Simple skinning may take a few days.
- Custom carbon manufacturing or composite mold work usually takes several weeks due to precision and curing requirements.

What do you need from me to start (photos, part, vehicle inspection)?
To start your carbon project, we need:
- Clear photos of the part or vehicle
- Description of the target result
- Intended usage (aesthetic or functional)
For custom or structural parts, we inspect the vehicle or part in our Dubai workshop before production to ensure perfect fitment and performance.

How do you protect carbon finish against Dubai sun and heat?
We use UV-resistant automotive clearcoats and heat-aware composite materials designed for UAE climate conditions.
For exterior carbon parts, we often recommend PPF protection to extend surface life and maintain finish quality under extreme sun exposure.

Can you create molds for repeat production?
Yes, we design and manufacture carbon fiber and composite molds in Dubai for repeatable production.
Molds allow consistent quality, perfect fitment and faster reorders for future projects or batch production. This is ideal for custom workshops, motorsport applications and ongoing builds.
