Some projects are deliberately avoided by most workshops due to their technical complexity. This Ford Cobra repaint was one of them. The task was to execute an exclusive paint design featuring a complex crystal-like visual structure embedded within the paint itself.
Using premium Polimar and Glazurit materials combined with proprietary techniques developed in-house, DEIZ GARAGE approached the project as a controlled experiment in layering, transparency, and optical depth. The finish required extreme precision at every stage, as even minor deviations would disrupt the intended visual effect.
Each layer was applied and evaluated individually, ensuring alignment with the overall structure before proceeding. The process demanded patience, discipline, and a willingness to restart stages if conditions were not perfect.
The complete repaint process took between 18 and 26 days, with no room for shortcuts. The result is a finish that transforms the vehicle into a rolling art object while respecting its classic proportions.
