This project focused on enhancing the performance of the Mercedes-AMG E63 Final Edition through a Stage 2+ calibration developed in collaboration with Morendi. The objective was to increase power output while maintaining stability and reliability for real-world driving conditions.
The upgrade includes a custom dyno calibration for the ECU, TCU, and CPC2 modules. All tuning parameters were validated on the DEIZ DYNO to ensure accurate control of boost pressure, ignition timing, and torque management.
To support the increased output, the vehicle received heat-shielded downpipes equipped with 200-cell HJS catalytic converters. The OPF/GPF system was removed as part of the performance configuration to improve exhaust flow and reduce back pressure.
The calibration also includes cooling optimization tailored for GCC climate conditions. This ensures stable operation during sustained load and high ambient temperatures typical for the region.
In addition to the powertrain modifications, the vehicle received Airmatic suspension lowering to enhance stance and handling characteristics while preserving daily usability.
Following the upgrade, the Mercedes-AMG E63 Final Edition produces approximately 775 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque, representing a significant increase over the factory output of 595 horsepower and 800 Nm.
This project demonstrates the combined approach of DEIZ GARAGE and Morendi in delivering performance upgrades that integrate precise calibration, supporting hardware modifications, and dyno-verified results.
