This project focused on developing a complete Stage 2 performance setup for the Lamborghini Urus 4.0 / Lamborghini Urus 4.0 TFSI, engineered for real-world use rather than peak dyno figures alone. As a luxury sports carpowered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, the Urus offers significant headroom for performance improvement, and the goal of this project was to unlock the full potential of the Lamborghini Urus while maintaining drivability, reliability, and fuel efficiency.
DEIZ GARAGE carried out a comprehensive Stage 2 ECU and TCU calibration for the Lamborghini Urus 4.0, combining performance software, advanced engine tuning, and transmission optimization. The calibration was developed with reference to Novitec’s engineering philosophy, including approaches used in the Novitec Stage 2 performance kit and other performance kits for Lamborghini Urus, applied across versions such as the Urus Performante and within the broader segment of sports cars and supercars. The result is approximately +90 horsepower and +150 Nm, with a focus on smooth power delivery, improved throttle response, and achieving maximum performance without compromising control.
Each calibration is dyno-tested and refined in accordance with high-performance automotive standards. The ECU mapping improves torque curves, engine response, and maximum power output, while the TCU calibration delivers faster, more precise gear changes, improved acceleration, and a more engaging driving experience. Compared to Stage 1, this Stage 2 setup represents a significant step toward ultimate performance and comprehensive performance enhancements suitable for daily use.
The combination of ECU, TCU, exhaust system, and intake creates a balanced upgrade package focused on performance and aesthetics, improved aerodynamic characteristics, and solutions designed to improve aerodynamics, where applicable.
