The McLaren 765LT is already an extreme machine, but pushing it further for real track use requires a very different mindset than chasing a single peak dyno number. This Stage 2 project at DEIZ GARAGE was developed specifically for sustained load, thermal stability, and repeatable performance.
The starting point was a completely stock McLaren 765LT, producing 765 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. From there, the hardware was upgraded to support consistent airflow and reduced exhaust restriction. High-performance downpipes were installed to lower backpressure and improve turbine efficiency, while an upgraded intake system was added to stabilize airflow and charge density at higher RPM. These changes were selected not for maximum headline numbers, but for reliability when the car is driven hard, lap after lap.
Calibration was developed with a clear Track Use philosophy. Power delivery was shaped to remain stable during repeated dyno pulls, simulating real-world heat buildup and sustained load. Torque request was carefully controlled, with a smooth ramp-in that improves traction and drivability instead of overwhelming the chassis. Factory protection strategies were not disabled for the sake of numbers; they were preserved and recalibrated to work correctly within the new performance window.
Every step of the process was logged, tested, and verified on the DEIZ DYNO. Clean data and repeatable results matter more than peak screenshots, because performance only counts when it can be delivered consistently.
The final result of the McLaren 765LT Stage 2 Track Use setup is 880 horsepower and 940 Nm of torque at the engine. More importantly, the power curve remains strong and usable under heat, maintaining consistency when the car is pushed beyond a single pull.
This project was developed and refined in collaboration with Morendi, combining calibration expertise with controlled dyno validation. The outcome is a McLaren 765LT that performs exactly as a track-focused car should.
