DEIZ GARAGE completed an extensive restoration and customization project for the iconic 1964 Chevrolet Impala. The goal of the project was to carefully revive this classic vehicle through a comprehensive mechanical rebuild and structural restoration while preserving its character.
The restoration process covered multiple key systems of the car. Work began with a complete inspection and rebuild of the gearbox, followed by a detailed engine restoration and later a comprehensive engine rebuild. The braking system was fully overhauled to ensure proper functionality and safety.
Suspension components were refreshed to restore stability and ride quality. Structural work included reinforcement of the frame as well as additional reinforcement of the rear axle to improve durability.
The project also included body and frame work together with color matching to maintain the visual integrity of the vehicle. Electrical systems were addressed through wiring and electrical restoration, ensuring reliable operation of the vehicle’s components.
Additional work involved installation of insulation and heat insulation to improve overall comfort and thermal management. The hydraulic system was also overhauled, and fuel and brake lines were replaced to ensure consistent performance and safety.
Final assembly included engine and component fitment, completing the mechanical and structural restoration of the vehicle.
The result is a revived 1964 Chevrolet Impala that reflects the craftsmanship and dedication involved in restoring a classic car. This project demonstrates DEIZ GARAGE’s approach to comprehensive restoration work, bringing an iconic vehicle back to life while preserving its heritage.
