The Mercedes-AMG G63 has always been known for its commanding presence, but this project was focused on transforming the interior into something truly unique.
The vehicle received a fully custom Starlight Headliner installation featuring 1,600 fibre optic lights, individually installed by hand throughout the cabin. The project extended far beyond the main headliner, incorporating the roof hatch, door pillars, windscreen pillars, and rear cargo area pillars to create a seamless and immersive lighting experience.
Every component was carefully disassembled, modified, and reassembled to achieve an OEM-quality finish while maintaining the luxury and functionality expected from the G-Class platform.
To enhance usability, the entire lighting system was integrated with smartphone control, allowing the owner to customize and manage the starlight effects directly from a mobile device.
The goal of this project was to create an interior environment that feels as exclusive and distinctive as the vehicle itself. The result is a cabin that transforms the driving experience after dark, combining luxury craftsmanship, modern technology, and attention to detail.
This project demonstrates how bespoke interior customization can completely redefine the atmosphere of a vehicle while preserving factory-level quality and refinement.
